This is a fic I wrote for the qaf_giftxchnge.

It was in answer to a request from GaleandRandy. The request was kind of long, but the gist of it was that Brian and Justin should be occasional fuck buddies and then Brian should realize he wants more when Justin decides to start dating because he’s now ready for a relationship ( Read more... )

I was wondering about your writing and what you've been up to. Good story - I really liked it. They guys were still in character for me even though it was another universe. Hope to hear more from you soon.

Thanks, honey. It's 7.40pm and I'm sitting here on a conference call with our UK office. That's how ... work-centric my life has been for the last couple of months. (Tomorrow night, oh joy! I have a call which will go from 11.30pm till around 2am.)

But I did have some time off over Christmas, and managed to get this finished in time.

Wonderfully original. I love it. Especially the part where Mikey bursts in and Justin bursts his bubble. I certainly would be interested in reading about Gus meeting Justin for the first time. In fact I think it would be lover-ly.

Love it!!!!! Justin in this story is how I would think he would be. His handling of Micheal's attitude was perfect. I really didn't want it to end. Thank you for sharing, :)

Thank you. I think the Justin we saw in S4 and S5 as he matured was a lot less emotional (hormone-driven) than he was at 17. And it struck me that he would be quite capable of dealing with Mikey without a lot of drama.

That was a fun read. :) All the fun of Brian & Justin with none of the angst, though Michael (as usual) tried to bring some. So love that Justin's the one who faced down Michael and told him to mind his own business.

My favorite part was Brian's thoughts when Justin was suggesting they become fuck buddies, especially "You’re amazing. I want to marry you and have your babies.". Me thinks Brian's reading too much fanfic! LOL

Great name you came up with for Brian's business, very fitting for all aspects of the story. :) ♥

Thank you. Glad you liked the name because I angsted more over that than the rest of the story put together, I think.

Also glad you enjoyed the way Justin dealt with Michael. I think Justin's more than capable, and having him know Michael first independently of Brian kind of gives him more freedom to say what he thinks, if that makes sense.

(What I would love to know is how Deb reacts to Mikey's tale about how they've been "cheating" on him. That might be a place to start for ... Oh, well, we'll see what happens.)
