I feel like I've done some useful stuff this week,
Mixing the recordings with the guys from Jeremiah at the weekend was cool, we got three songs we're pretty happy with, just 7 more to go!
I've been phoning and visiting local pubs getting the word out about my cover band, spent 3 hours tonight walking from pub to pub handing out flyers and getting some contacts with the local music scene.
This weekend coming we've got more mixing to go and some recording with Tartan so we can get a demo sorted, and apparently a gig coming up at a wedding and another at a charity event with some b-list celebs!
ok, it's not much, but at the minute anything that goes right feels like something worth celebrating, I'm tired most of the time with the studio and course, but it all feels worthwhile.
