I live.
And it doesn't suck,
Things are going quite well at the minute, I've set myself up doing demo's for local bands through the charity I volunteer at, Jeremiah's been taking advantage of the setup and we've started recording a demo album, we managed to get three songs finished on saturday, barring a little mixing, and we got 10 more drum tracks and a couple of guitars down on Sunday. It's a slow process, we spent at least 20 hours over the weekend getting as much as we did, but since we're not paying for it, it's time well spent!
Also been doing a bit of work with web design and a fisheye lens for 360 panorama flash stuff, ready for the redesign of the riptide and jeremiah websites due over the next couple of months. I've got a planning meeting with a self made millionaire next week to discuss strategies for acquiring property in Dundee to help the charity, hopefully netting us some free space and a budget for outfitting it with some decent soundproofing.
TSJ's on a bit of a downer, we picked up a van and light rig before christmas, but since then things have been a bit strained, with our drummer really just taking the piss, not showing up for practice and turning down paying gigs, so at the minute I've stepped behind the kit to try and solve the problem, at least until an alternative can be found.
And my Bass is on the way! after nearly two years waiting, it's actually on a plane as I type winging it's way to me for mucho noisemaking, so I'll leave you guys with a pic of it!
