So being a big ol' geek I preordered the fancy box set edition of halo 3 with virgin online about a week ago, while the website was still claiming it was in stock and ready to ship, yet low and behold, it seems that I might not be getting a copy after all.
My order's sitting listed as "backordered", and while the hand customer service message tells me that they've sent all they're sending, no-one will actually answer the bloody phone to tell me if I should be getting a confirmation message, or if this is all nice and normal.
this kind of thing really annoys me, and if I find out that my order isn't getting sent, they'd better be prepared to give me a bucket load of swag or I'm going to clog up their servers with complaints, not that I doubt I'll be alone in that.
