Forethought is a wonderful thing

Back around Christmas we had a lovely dinner involving 2 very tasty ducks.  Their remains became quite a bit of stock, which was saved in the freezer.  Now, when I'm too sick to make soup from scratch, I get to enjoy the smell of fresh soup cooking from that lovely stock, which will feed me for the rest of the week.

There has to be a silver lining to everything, even the flu - for me, it is soup!
