Doing our Civic Duty - Vote on Tuesday with your brain, please

Oct 31, 2010 18:31

My parents were very big on researching our votes, and I've continued the habit.  I check with what the enemy wants and use various websites to check legislative records for both my state and national incumbents.  Here are some links to get you started:

For those who like to vote against the Right -
http://www.afaaction.net/Default.aspx?state=NH&chamber=H

For those in support of equal rights for all, the HRC -
http://www.hrc.org/laws_and_elections/index.htm

Women's issues -
http://www.prochoiceamerica.org/government-and-you/state-governments/

Here is a state by state guideline to the elections -
http://www.uselections.com/nh/nh.htm

These are good places to start.  Each state usually has the voting records for the past year available on line as well.  Choose wisely, choose well.

edited as more info comes across my desk.
