Day 2457
I think I missed a day of happy meme. Somehow, yesterday was not very happy.
The company for which I work filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy . And today I have to go to school and explain why Emily was absent more than 5 days without an excuse... and I have no idea which days they are referring to. Possibly the days before Christmas when she couldn't go to school because I couldn't get her on any kind of meds because I couldn't get a doctor to see her. *sigh*
I also have the problem of keeping Mom's shopping cold while I am at school for an indeterminate amount of time. And when I get home, I need to pick up pine cones in the rain because no one else is doing it.
Next Wednesday, I have to go to Eliz's school with her and my tax paperwork so that she can still get grants to go to school. I don't get it... she's 19, she lives on her own and pays her own bills... why should what I make be of any import? Not that it will hurt her, you understand... she makes more than I do.
I want a vacation from being me...
