meh..

so we're almost set on the whole house thing. we're going to see the house, and talk to the seller on Monday. should have pics to post of the interior and the back garden then. also, we were kinda falling short on cash as we needed like 3200 quid to pay off the mini (Monday is the due date on that payment O.o) and we have about 3k worth of legal fees to cover. not to mention we may not have any white goods when we move into the house if the seller takes hers with her.

sooo.... Nick is selling his car and we should be getting over 6k for it as they quoted us 5740 with no tax or MOT, and no hard top included (which it has)... so we should be good for the cash flow situation now *cheer* and the only downside is we will be left with one car.. not too bad. deal with that for a few (possibly 6) months, then get a new car for Nick on pcp (the way we got the mini) and possibly trade in the old mini for a new one for me :P but that's months down the road. for now, we need to wait until surveys on the house are done, then we get a closing date. i had no idea it would be such a long and stressful process. i'll be glad when it's all over and we're finally in our new house!

so Nick and i have been looking at room designs and trying to plan how we want things to look and how we want to redecorate. be warned, the pink is DEFINITELY going :P (you'll see after i post pictures)

and for now, we're sorting through so much crap in the house.. i'm finding such old stuff lying around! i found a tin of thickener (i assume for stews/gravies?) in the cupboard that i missed the FIRST time i cleared out a load of out of date crap in there.. this tin was labeled (exp Jan '01)... OH ONE!! Nick told me he'd probably packed that when it was already expired, when he moved from the flat he used to live in before here O.o i can understand a few months, possibly a yr out of date if you dont check your cupboards that often, but we're working on 6 yrs here! O.O it was on a top shelf at the very back, which would explain why it's been missed i suppose. i'm just glad i'll know everything that's going into this new house. we can get rid of so much old unwanted garbage!

ok i should really end this and carry on sorting through my school stuff which i'll hopefully never need again :P teachers accumulate SO MUCH crap! my stuff has been taking up most of the spare bedroom for over a year now. time to clean house! WOOT!
