On this, the Twenty-sixth of February, Two-thousand and six, a great man passed on. Linwood "Grump" Sawyer, My grandfather, the man who taught me how to throw a baseball, who constantly had to be reminded that the capital of Missouri is Jefferson City, not Jackson City, who always hit on 15, died in his sleep around 1:30 this morning at Cedar Ridge Nursing Home in Skowhegan after fighting Alzheimer's Disease for the better part of 3 years. He was the last of 7 brothers. His suffering is at an end and he is now safely playing catch with his brothers, as he did in his youth.

Goodbye Grump, you'll be missed

Love, your "smart little fellow", Dylan
