What? Why?! You don't have a right to stop us, who do you think you are?! Just because you're Mother's favourite doesn't mean you can stand in our way!
[Of course if he had any clue Sephiroth was with the police force, he'd at least get it. As he doesn't, Sephiroth is just a big meanie-head. And we know how Loz feels about those... He huffs angrily and kicks a chunk of asphalt, stopping just for a while.]
What laws?! Who cares about laws! Stupid people don't understand anything, me and Yazoo can catch him before anyone else even thinks about it! What're you gonna do, tell?
[Sephiroth succeeds in startling him with those words. Something about them makes him feel cold and something clicks in the back of his mind, though he's not sure what it is. His to kill? He's not even sure how to react to that.]
No! No- we're Mother's, we're not yours! Shut up! Stop talking to me and stay out of my way!
[He's not really succeeding in being as intimidating as usual. His words tremble and he's actually terrified by this. And crying, of course. What were Sephiroth's words doing to him? He'd never really thought about anything like that before, not like Kadaj did.]
[Loz stutters a little, not sure if he should press on or go with his first instinct and listen to Sephiroth. He never took an order from anyone outside of his brothers and Jenova, but now he finds his legs are trembling. Feet feel heavy like they're bolted to the road.
Finally he collapses to his knees, defeated. All he can do is cry now, angry that he can't do anything for Kadaj, and that Sephiroth had managed to intimidate him so.]
Nnnng... Oouh... Make him shut up...!
[Referring to Genesis, the complete stranger who keeps mocking what happened. Now he's in Sephiroth's hands. He has to rely on him now...]
Go to Mother and make sure she is safe, Loz. Can you do that for me?
[He had some idea of what he does to the three, although he has refrained from commanding them so much. Loz was the easiest by far, and Sephiroth wished to sooth him a little.]
I will talk to him, but you must see to Mother. Kadaj will come back and she needs to be safe for his return.
[With a deep gulp, Loz remains on his knees, wide-eyed and confused. He runs his fingers up through his hair and clutches his head, trying to think. There's nothing but loud wet sniffs every so often and a very quiet groan as he tries to stifle the crying.
After a minute of rocking on his toes, he stands up, wiping his face and answering.]

...What I want, I would not do or speak of. Kadaj is mine to kill, no one else has that right.

[Sephiroth is tired of playing games, and his voice takes on a darker edge.]

[He knew he was being mean here. He knew he was pressing Loz hard, but he did not want to see them do something stupid. Not now.]
I refuse.
