Geez. Netizens are kicking up a big fuss cos 2PM's Jaebum called Korea gay a few years back.
Okay, so the guy made a mistake. I'm not trying to diminish the magnitude of this mistake, but let's look at the facts. He was plucked out of an environment he'd lived in for the majority of his life and put into Korea, a place foreign to him and underwent training as an artiste. Anyone who's a kpop fan will know how difficult trainees' lives are; it's not all peaches and cream even if you've secured a spot in a group.
The 'Gay Korea' thing was a few years back, and I'm sure Jaebum has matured. Honestly, who hasn't made a racist comment before? I know those Korean netizens won't read any of this but hey, whoever hasn't slipped up at all is a saint and doesn't exist. Now netizens are signing a petition to make Jaebum quit 2PM and singing.
Ugh, please. He's worked hard for where he is today, and you think you can tear him down with a petition. Uh-uh. Get your priorities right, netizens. Instead of promoting world peace, you try to ruin a person's life. I may not be a huge 2PM fan, but no one deserves this for a mistake made years ago. He didn't do anything illegal, he didn't kill anyone, so why, instead of studying and working hard to be a lawyer so that you can fight for REAL justice, do you weakly attempt to tip a person's career to pieces?
I wouldn't wish this even on Ahn Sohee, and that's saying something -_-
And pfft. Jackie Chan and that random author from Taiwan criticised Singapore, calling us a snot and whatnot (look it rhymes!). Sure, I was pissed but I'm not going to affirm their baseless statements by providing evidence that Singapore has stupid citizens that waste their time getting mad about a famous person's allegations about SG's awesomeness. Netizens, if you don't like what Jaebum said, blog a little, let off some steam THEN FORGET ABOUT IT ALREADY.
