LOL this is so ridiculous it makes me want to laugh. Ridiculous on my part, I guess.
Wonder Girls' Nobody is so popular in Singapore, it makes me scoff in wonder. Hello, conducting dance lessons for Nobody? No one needs dance lessons for that song cos the dance is beyond easy.
And yes, part of the reason why the deluge of "I wan nobadee nobadee but choo"s irritate me so much is cos I think Wonder Girls aren't deserving of all this attention. Well, Ahn SoHee at least.
I don't hate her, but that girl needs to learn how to sing. Or just swear off singing completely. She's pretty much the worst professional singer I've come across so far. I mean, really. If she's going to be a dancer or whatever, fine. But singer? Maybe in your next life. She's improved since the Tell Me days, but seeing how her standard was back then, the only way she could go was up.
She's the only thing turning me off Wonder Girls. I'm not someone who goes gaga over girl groups cos I feel odd (give me DBSK anyday), but I'll give them credit where it's due. For example, SNSD. Not all their singers are strong, but at least they're decent singers! Out of 9 girls, there are like 4 really good ones and the rest are able to keep a tune. Wonder Girls? 1 strong, 1 almost there, 1 decent, 1 good rapper and 1 that sucks really badly.
My point is, they're all primarily singers, and they need to have at least a decent voice that won't make people puke. Since Sohee can't sing, she should at least be able to dance. Too bad that WG's dances are as simple as pie. It's one advantage when it comes to popularity, since people can catch on to the dance, but it doesn't showcase any skills. God knows Sohee needs that -.-
