im at school again. this is a good place to be online i guess...
aside from the usual. i've been working on getting all of my schoolbooks. hopefully the one i got for digital publishing is the right book... =P im so tired....
these classes aren't too bad, i'm pretty good at sitting at a computer all day.
for those of you who don't know. i'm getting a new computer soon. i ordered it online and everything. its a 20 inch imac with a 2 gig RAM and a 500 gig harddrive. there are several reasons ive been wanting a mac. one is that about 90% of the graphic design industry runs on macs, another is i'm fscking sick of viruses and trojans and adware and ALL THE OTHER SHIT THAT COMES WITH USING A PC. i doubt a mac will be completely safe from these things... but hopefully more so than my PC is. i want to keep my PC tho. i'm just not sure where ill keep it. i also got an all-in-one printer with a $100 rebate (being a student makes buying macs easier) which'll be good, because my scanner SUCKS.
last night i bought my mom a book call "my child is gay." it's a collection of letters written by parents about the moment their kids came out to them. it's an interesting book. i wrote my mom a note that said i bought it for her because i sensed that she was having a little bit of a hard time dealing with the situation, and to show her that she wasn't completely alone in the world. that there are other people like her, and me, and that she can always talk to me if anything is bothering her.
i think she liked it => she left me a thank you note.
