Day three, no Spunkmeyer's
*sigh*
In other news, finally talked to my parents last night -- they're already in Vegas. (Thanks for calling me before you left, Ma!) Looks like I'll be on my own Sunday and Monday, when they're going somewhere overnight with some friends.
So, I figure, one day I'll do Penn & Teller and the other I'll do Blue Man Group (my parents hate those kind of "crappy shows" in my mom's words), and the rest of the time I'll be following my parents around like a lost puppy.
Found out yesterday that Binion's is closed down. Harrah's has bought them out, and will be running the World Series of Poker tourney -- but, there won't be any Double Shootouts (the WSOP qualifiers I wanted to try) until they reopen the Horseshoe, sometime around April 1. So, one less tournament for me to try, and it had to be the Big One. Ah, well.
Spoke with my son again last night before bedtime -- he sounds much better. I think, after today, he'll have a much easier time dealing with things.
