work, work, work.
it's not all i do, but it IS all i do when i do it. =P i only work 3 days a week, but 12 hour shifts. so...it's work for 12 hours, sleep all day. get up, eat dinner, work for 12 hours, sleep all day, dinner, work, sleep. and then a regular week where i get go to doc apts, run arrands, it's really not a bad deal. my ONLY gripe is that i've got the weekend shift. *quick break...had to clean up a BM from one of the patients. =) yay.
my good friend monica came by and dropped off her laptop for me to use here at work. (we don't have internet...i know what, is this 1992?) the front part of the house (where the ballard's live) has wireless, thus - i'm able to go online. (cool computer, just not a mac) boooo. =) i love my friend monica, and so would you!
i got the supeona in the mail from the DA summoning me to court on nov. 8th. THAT'S NEXT WEEK. i'm supposed to call him on monday to work out getting me down there and what not. (the state of ca is going to FLY ME to orange county.) BEST PART?? the trial is at the FULLERTON court house!!! uh, soooo awesome! damn the woman who stole my identity, but i'm kinda REALLY thankful to be coming home for a visit. i wish nick could come. i really, really do...but we can't afford it. =(
i'm listening to a mix i made of orange county local musical artists that i used to go and see. tyrone, mike baas, erin wells, mike barnet, mike vitale, molly jenson. *sigh*
marriage isn't easy. but it's significantly rewarding. tyrone said it best in a blog the other day.
"All of you myspacers out there that are
afraid of marriage or marriage-haters… let me say
marriage can be a beautiful thing. When you take two
imperfect, selfish people (which let's face it.. at
times we're all imperfect and selfish) and make a
promise to always love, commit to, and stand by each
other (even in your lowest most unattractive
moments)…. Great things happen. As you can imagine,
when you are unconditionally accepted in this way, a
new level of contentment and well being sets in. "
i loved it. and it's so true.
ok, i'm off to cook myself something to eat and then at midnight give bobby his h2o and inhalers. =)
