update: not serial killers (probably). they are in fact sci-fi collecting, fortran-anecdote-telling computer scientists from UChicago. they are pretty nice and I will find out soon if I get the job (which would involve some grocery shopping, some cooking, some cleaning, laundry, whatnot so they can spend more time with their kids).
