Moments lost though time remains...

I am so proud of what we were
No pain remains, no feeling - eternity awaits...
Grant me wings that I might fly
My restless soul is longing
No pain remains, no feeling - eternity awaits...

So, by popular opinion, which is it? I can't run a small bookshop on my own on a sunday because I am obviously -
a) Insane b) Untrustworthy
c) Incompetent or d) All of the above?
And this state of affairs makes me -
a) Depressed b) Pissed off
c) Resentful or d) All of them and then some?

*Sigh*
It's wednesday - since my days go from sunrise to sunrise it's still wednesday no matter what lj thinks - and as is traditional I wrote LBP in the cafe over the cigarette and coffee that was my lunch...

"Try to remember happiness," he said
As tears and darkness filled my head
But how to summon a smile for every frozen mile
That keeps you from my side?

And what is broken cannot be fixed
Despite memory's deceptive tricks;
Playing Othello's game of pinning pointless blame
On a moment that was missed.

My only reason to stay in tact
I left with you a daytime back;
When will I let those see the ruination that is me
And finish what I started?

I read The Red Laugh by Andreyev again today. Gods that book is good - and so messed up. It speaks of war and the madness inherent within warfare with a sort of helpless nihilism, confused but unabashed by its own lack of understanding. After all, how the hell can a bunch of normal people ordered into one place to shell the crap out of another bunch of people be rational or worthy of understanding? I recommend it on its own merits, but also to any one who has ever played or reffed Cthuhlu and wants to read San-loss in action... The book itself is hard to find, but there's about half of it up on this site...

Time for bed I guess; if I get up on time tomorrow I'm going into Richmond to look for a job. Yey.
