Names names names.
After being told I had to find a different name to write under - NOW! - and settling for ‘Lana Morgan’, I’ve now had Ravenna suggested to me.
So, Raven is awful goth tat but Ravenna is fine? I’m so very confused.
I suppose if you're gonna be named after a place, Ravenna is far classier than Chelsea or Paris or Brooklyn.
Personally (after further thought) I’m very tempted by Nemain. But I’ll probably be told that’s too weird and Celtic. Also knowing my track record it's not pronounced 'Nemain' at all but 'susan' or something. (Not that I'm bitter about Celtic spelling - OH NO NOT AT ALL.)

In other news, internal biology tried to kill me with cramps today and I had no neurofen to counteract it. So I had the bright idea of putting on a corset and drinking a glass of wine.
(No, I don't know why I thought this would help either. I'm not certain my brain was functioning correctly. I think it was just working on some word association kick: {corset/supported/embraced - wine/lush/velvet} Quick quick, it'll be like a velvet hug!)
Turns out it worked surprisingly well. Even if it did make me feel a bit like I should be a blonde bitch whose surname was Lannister. This may be my new remedy - it's certainly more fun than painkillers.
