Yesterday CountryBoy was effectively lame; he wasn't putting any weight on his front right hoof and was obviously in pain. K had a look at it and knew it was more than he could fix. So we informed the house and asked if we could call the vet. LadyBlueJay said yes, Presley said no

Glad to hear the vet could fix his hoof. Not sure what to say about the state of their stalls. I think I'd go with your statement of "so much bloody RAGE".

Meeep - RAGE seems a pretty solid option when looking at the horses and Presley's(very well meaning but no longer proper) care of them.

The two big horses are much younger; they're about 14, they can cope with a bit of rough weather and handling. Of course they shouldn't have to, but some rain and mud isn't gonna fuck them up like it does CountryBoy.

It just makes me so sadlyfoxears because there's only so much K and I can do - and I don't want 'so much we can do' I want 'we fix this shit and then some!'

Presley used to be totally doom and rocking about riding and caring for horses. But as far as I can figure out, she got kicked in the head several times too many and so doesn't quite know what she thinks she knows.... So now days she thinks she knows better than vets or farriers or anyone.... and she doesn't =(

I'm about to hit her bloody head with a skillet I'm so angry with her! K and I had to leave the house yesterday and sit at the Brewhaus for several hours otherwise there would have been death blood and doom. (Possibly mine, possibly hers, maybe both, hard to say...)

Meanwhile I am still seethingly cross with dead uncle and while I know it is perfectly possible to be pissed at a ghost it is extremely tiresome that you can't actually brain them.
