Oh, meep, I could - as I did when I first started - was ages 'til I had a paid account.

Am just trying to work out whether I can justify the money for a paid account to keep all my own tweeks, pics and custom pokking that I've done to lj... knowing how much my neurons will sulk to go without it.

I concur with spacedmonkey, even though I know I do not really update, I like wandering in and seeing what everyone else has bothered to write :)
