Glad there's no stabitty stab. As for the art, have you considered live blogging your work? Ustream and livestream are both good platforms for chatting with your friends whilst you're busy. It doesn't even have to be art as the screencasting will show whatever is on your computer screen. People game with their friends or show crafting for Etsy or what-have-you. You can even record an episode if you like, and it's all free.
