And I thought I was only dreaming yeah
I kissed you then, then once again
You said you would come and dance with me
Dance with me across the sea
And we could feel the motion of a thousand dreams
Oh, Doctor, doctor, can't you see I'm burning, burning
Oh, Doctor, doctor, is this love I'm feeling?"Eeeee - uber trashy 80s song I just found! Mwahahahaha ( Read more... )

You're still out doing my aunt in leaps and bounds! I am also, once again, so very glad that I am an only child.

*laughs* Yeah, but you haven't told me anything good about your aunt, so it's currently possible for me to be mildly awful and still technically better than the lady in question.

Siblings. Sometimes they're like best friends, other times they're like an abusive relationship you can't get out of =P

I remembered the tune and chorus of that song but last time I'd thought to try to discover what it was there was no internet, so my attempts failed. Was reminded of it this eve, and the net provided all =)

Yey for trashy 80s stuff!

Since he didn’t see fit to let me out of his sight without care instructions (and dear god man it was only one time with the Gin!) , I rather feel the need to reciprocate ( ... )

Himself turned up when Delilah and I were hiding behind the curtains and slaying imaginary monsters. He joined in and was epically slain several times, dying very nicely ( ... )

Every child should have a very bad aunt. They're part of the experience of growing up, and sometimes they can be a magnificent inspiration.
Children are good at enjoying horrible stories, and recognising that they are stories. And loving the storyteller all the more for it.

Heh. I am definitely the bad aunt of the family - like a cross between Mrs Lovett and The Storyteller =)

there is a velvet and gin care package in the post to you, hope that helps nuerons cope a bit.

your sister sounds a lot like mine, amazingly unthinkly generous, clever but deliberatly stupid and so maddening that she can set your teeth on edge just by breathing, and yet completely impossible to cut out of your life with out losing something important.

every small child should have stories to half believe and not quite worried about :)

Thank you - that is a brilliant sounding package - and I look forward to it's arrival =)
