I wonder how long that's been going on?
To move up from the 'old friends' who come round for cake and whiskey and the too many plates to be washed up for eating alone, to add to the unusual hours and the absences... Today there was a mysterious guest in Matt's room.
I knocked on the door twice to ask if they wanted tea but there was no reply; which rather lead me to assume they were embarrassed that I was there.
Matt returned at two thirty from wherever he'd been and neither acknowledged nor introduced his guest to me, which made me suspect it was a lady and he was sleeping with her. At about three they left; she was a dark haired woman in a black coat and he has indeed been shagging her.
I wonder how recent it is and if he was with her or pursuing her when he asked me in the email who I was chasing? Probably.
Mostly I think I'm irritated by his total lack of tact or grace. Either introduce the girl and be civilized or go shag her somewhere else.
Another interesting point is that this (one assumes) is very casual and short term for Matt unless she is also going to Australia at the end of December or unless he's been shagging her for ages.
.... Must resist urge to leave note saying 'I can make you impotent you know'. Or to leave note enquiring if it was any good (with attached score card).
