Fairies, underwear, cider and bishonen.
That's my world today, pretty much. Which makes it sound like some sort of yaoi orgy, but actually isn't.
This morning I re-read most of The Good Fairies of New York by Martin Millar. Millar's an author I'm rather fond of: all his characters are unhinged and sound like the friends your friends tell stories about.
I have new underwear. It's cheap, black and white, and occasionally patterned with things like stars or pinstripes. This is still a source of surprise for me since I haven't had anything other than plain black knickers for the past decade at least. All of which is probably more than the general public needed to know, but never mind.
I have cider. Yey!
I have been drawing Bloodsucker art for Grim. This has meant parodying certain WoD Clans in dodgy manga style. I've been stuck on how to draw a vampiric manga milkman for the past two days. Inspiration at last! Ah, CLAMP - how I love your obsession with pretty boys in gothic militaria - at last I know what to draw! Shonen Milk Services - The Milk Is The Life! Only the cover art to do now, although I have no idea what that will end up like...
