My Day So Far (in verse...) II

Nov 25, 2005 13:59

There's opium in the tangerine
(At least that's what I'm told)
And I have to check for needle tracks
In case the skin's been hole'd...

But the boy who gave it to me,
Well he also left his keys
- Instead of a trafficking dealer
He works for Featherstone Leigh.

The weather's gone cyrillic
(Although Jenny can't do snow)
My fingers have turned quite pallid
And mauve's not far to go.

The porn in the post was chocolate
(The boxes have yet to arrive)
I've imagined the perfect winter coat,
So I guess that I'll survive.

My tea again is clockwork
(Although it doesn't taste of fish)
And I cannot summon up a Wolf
No matter how hard I wish.

I'm wasting time with doggeral
(And the rhyming's getting worse)
So I'll do the world a favour
And give up after this verse.
