Availability or the lack thereof
I got the first call last night at 9:30 and another call this morning. My father is in the hospital. And what was originally thought to be 'just' a hernia is now who-the-hell-knows-what and he has an irregular heartbeat which may or may not be related. So anyway, I'm heading out there this morning and will be out there for at least the weekend. I have no idea what my availability will be. If he has surgery and he's at the hospital for a while, then it'll be non-existant. If he's home soon, I may be around quite a bit between getting whatever he needs.
