So today is going to be interesting
(i was supposed to go to blakes show last night but i heard that it was 21 and up so i called him to make sure, and it was. GR!)
anyway
forrrrrr those who haven't heard, I gave this random guy directions downtown about a month ago, and he gave me a flyer for his music in turn. Like the good little curious person I am, i check out the myspace link on the flyer. It's 80's ish music. pretty cool. whatever. *add*
so we start messaging (not like that, this guy is 32) about music and shit and it TURNS OUT that he's got two of his own businesses going on , and he needs a shit ton of promoters for them. he's got music projects flying up the ass and he even sponsors some bands. He plays places like london and dublin and shit. pretty damn sweet.
soo, i ask about the promoting stuff and its basically. going around to locations that he picks and handing people flyers and you get commission for it. he never makes you work more than 4 hours at a time. youre always partnered up with someone. and with all the commission you'll be getting you make like 40-50 bucks an hour basically. SO. in a couple of hours you make a couple hundred bucks. it takes me two fuckin weeks to do that.
so today i'm going to check it out. just waiting for him to call me and tell me where to go. I sign an independent contract which basically means that I work under him but he's not liable for anything i do or say and vise versa with him. so i can piss people off and it'll be fine :D haha
but yeah. you also make your own schedule. you can work as many days as you want. if you need to call out he doesn't care what its for, as long as it's the morning of. on the phone he was like "yeah you can call out to go party with your friends, go to a concert get drunk i dont care as long as you let me know that morning so i can get someone to replace you." um, SWEET?!
so yeah. hopefully there's no evil catch, and it all works out. cause i need moneys! AND, if its good and any of my friendlings are interested i can prooobbabbly hook you up with it cause he still needs people to promote. :D
but anway, lunch with lauracus soon! then we'll see how this offer unfolds. if it all works out i'll be rich! and have tattoo money in no time =]
