The end of another weekend
Is it normal to be in mourning over the end (death) of the weekend? Would I get funny looks if I wore a black armband to work and talked of having a wake on Wednesday?
Just some things I am considering... :-D
So it was an eventful weekend... Friday (god I love my day off) I worked around the house getting shit in order. I also slept until like noon... I remember when that was normal, now its just one of those occasional experiences I have to treasure. Side note: I miss college... months off in the summer and a month in the winter... Hells yes! Why did I ever graduate?
I spent Saturday having a picnic with Suzanne at the national mall and checked out the Cherry Blossoms. Sadly everyone, their brother, and their uncle Bob decided to do the same. Still a good time! (pics on facebook) I dont even remember the last time I went on a picnic? I guess maybe when I was like 12 and we would go BBQ at Uncas Pond (http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.aspx?trailid=CGN017-040). By the way, unless it has changed this place was my favorite place to do when I was a kid.
Saturday night I demonstrated my cooking skills (or lack thereof?).
And today I have done exactly "fuck all" and it has been GLORIOUS! lol Around 4 I considered actually doing something. But after all that hard work to slack and waste the day until that point... it just didn't seem like it was such a great idea.
So suggestions for the wake being held for this weekend? Im thinking Drunken Ribeyes @ Mike's?? Damn now I'm hungry!
