Knitting and my wonderful husband
So, I've discovered a new found hobby/beginning passion. Knitting. I finished one scarf...a fluffy yellow concoction for Morgan. She insisted she wanted a scarf like Mommy's. I'm making myself a long rose colored one. She then picked a very soft, fuzzy, yellow duckling type yarn for her scarf. She seems to love it, which is all that really matters.
Anyway, we did Valentine's early, mainly cause black_king and I hate waiting to give each other presents. He got me a new knitting book, one that is designed for beginning knitters, with several neat new pattersn to help me practice new skills. I can't wait to try it. He also found a cool knitting shop very near our house, which I can't wait to check out. The shop people apparently thought it was very cool that he was there shopping for his wife. Men don't go there that often.
I'm just excited to get started on a new project!
