SHOW SOME LOVE FOR HUMAN TARGET!

MARK VALLEY IS BACK ON TWITTER!

He used to have an account as @itsmarkvalley, but he closed it around the time Human Target was cancelled. He has now opened a new account and I sent him a tweet asking if he wanted to hear from HT fans and he replied "the more the merrier" and "all 14 of them".

That he's even joking about HT not being popular is just ( Read more... )

a creed of jealousy? because there are huge wiffs I'm getting in my direction. I mean Jackie is working with poplar directors and is happy. chi is doing his work and music and is happy. Mark doesn't seem to be happy at all....It smells like it
Is mark unhappy?

Eh, I think that's just his vibe.

Either way, I wouldn't fault him. Keen Eddie (a previous show of his) was cancelled and Sienna Miller, his co-star, made it big after. He was in Fringe for like 4 episodes and then that made it big, including his ex wife who is now also quite famous. And then Human Target gets cancelled. Chi McBride is Chi McBride and JEH is off making big movies.

But I didn't really get that from his tweets, though.

Sadly, there's an excellent chance that Harry's Law, his latest series, will be getting the axe as well. I tried to sit through an episode of it for his sake but it's just...so...dull. Couldn't make it past ten minutes. And it's a shame, because he's as adorable in it as he was in HT.

I didn't know he was in that! I might try it, then.

I do really like him and I wish his shows would stop getting cancelled. Worse (although he's not bad) actors are getting lasting jobs, why not him? I mean, he could be a jerk behind the scenes for all I know, but he's pretty awesome on screen.

According to his IMDB he's got at least one movie role coming up, so maybe he'll start transitioning into that world as well. He was also in the cinematic tour de force that was Hot Dudes with Kittens, so there's that.

Mark Valley easily has the looks for modelling but he's too good an actor to be written off as just a pretty face. I got hold of Pasadena (kind of a precursor in many ways to Desperate Housewives) and he was AWESOME as rich playboy/womaniser/loyal brother/accidental murderer! It was a great role and he lit up the screen. The problem with Harry's Law is that he's just a background character and he doesn't get enough screen time.

It's not a good time to be cast in a new show. Something like 86 US TV shows were axed or came to the end of their run this year and that's a record! Even Fringe's days are considered numbered at this point. Networks are axing anything that isn't an immediate runaway success in favour of more bloody reality shows and "talent" shows.

Kind of wish he didn't act like a spoil brat with human target...it was good run....he was good....

modling work wouldn't hurt him...it'll pay the bills

don't know what your basis for the "spoiled brat" comment is but it seems very harsh based on a handful of tweets!
