Honestly, I think Guerrero's real name must be extremely boring. With the name "Guerrero", I always figured him as a "John" or "Jack" or "James" and chose something more lively. It's interesting that people who know him from the past, back when he was "bad", never address him by name, like the Italian guy from "Pilot", or Taggart from "Tanarak", or Sergei from "Rewind".

As for his private life, he always came off as undeniably straight man and married one at that. He's always texting someone, which you can see in at the end of "Run", on the plan steps in "Salvage and Reclamation", waiting at the car in "Sanctuary", even at the end of his revealing phone conversation in "Baptiste". His truck is a family-friendly four-door. Of course, there's his "little one" and is a man considered about "losing everything"; with a child, he's a character with the most to lose, far more than Chance and Winston. It's no wonder why he would leave that life, even then he hasn't left it completely and I assume it's because he's not really good at anything else -- and a growing family needs growing funds, too. I can't really see him in a "normal" job for too long without killing someone who annoyed him for something slight. Also, I always loved the line Guerrero gives to Taggart: "Say hi to your wife for me." I always saw that as a "Mine's better than yours" from him. XD

I also came to believe that Guerrero is loyal to Chance is because he helped save him and family, probably to escape that assassin life of his; as long as his family is save, he owes Chance. When they're safety is compromise, he'll probably drop Chance at a drop of a hat and I don't think Chance would blame him. The Old Man seemed bitter to see Guerrero and, man, Guerrero licks lips while pointing that gun at him, like a fox seeing a chicken; you can tell he wanted to shoot him bad. Of course, Baptiste REALLY hates him, more than he hates Chance. While he'd give Chance a moment to talk, he wanted to drop Guerrero off the phone quick and hit him below the belt. Baptiste came off as a damn creepy when he was watching an unconscious Guerrero on the floor in "Christopher Chance", staring at him with a gun in his hand and wondering if he should kill him. When Guerrero says the line, "Besides, this whole thing is kind of lookin' like a family squabble. I'm just gonna--" Baptiste's smile fades instantaneously. It seems like Guerrero might have taken someone close to the Old Man and Baptiste and was part of a "family squabble" himself between the two.

Because of all of this, I don't want Ames to be in any romantic relationship with Guerrero. I don't mind a teacher-student between them, similar to Guerrero-Layla; however with his "little one" in the picture, Guerrero should remain off-limits, no questions asked. Personally, I would like it if Ames went for Baptiste. If she's so despicable, why not go the bad guy with the sexy accent? It would be interesting to see her gain everyone's trust and betray them, making the same mistakes Chance and Guerrero did and end up working for the Old Man. Or go for Winston, if anyone needs to get laid on the show, it's him...
