SNAP Story!
And now, without further ado, here is my SNAP story...
So, on Wednesday night, TMK, Mary, and I SNAP it home after ID 2050. The van pulls up, and we are excited to discover that it's Erin and JRoy driving. So we're all talking and having fun on the ride home.
*Flash forward an hour*
I have gone to the Bean to visit Gabe. I leave, and as I'm coming up on Elbridge St, I see the SNAP van driving down Elbridge towards me. The van stops in front of AGD for a minute. So I get excited, because I know it's Erin and JRoy. And, hey, I'm in a good mood. So I blow them a kiss. And I'm looking at them, and they're just not reacting at all. They must not see me. So I blow another one. STILL nothing! So, I start blowing kisses GRATUITOUSLY. By this I mean, I was practically down on one knee blowing them kisses and making rather suggestive faces. At this point, the van is driving towards me again. I smile and get ready to shout hello, but stop short. This is because I realize as the van stops next to me, that this is NOT the SNAP van. This is a middle-aged man in a red minivan who is smiling and waving at me. I make a quick assessment of the situation, and do the only thing I can think of. I smile and wave back. And keep walking. Very quickly.
So it's kind of anti-climactic. But damn, it was funny. That guy made my night!
In other news, I am a sleep whore. So, now, I think I will watch a movie in bed until I fall asleep...
