Hey everybody. So I just want to start today out with a note that it is fucking hot here in Tucson today. 115...we are halfway to boiling. Granted, it is dry, so it actually isn't bad outside if you are just sitting in the shade doing nothing. It is my day off, well rather my second day off. Yesterday, went to see Episode III, and was very impressed. It is definitely a very close mark to redemption for georgey boy. He ain't off the hook, but he is close. I do have some minor complaints about it, but I'll let everyone see it first.
I was supposed to go see it again with one of my coworkers, but it was a little bit of a downer, and I was feeling rather mopey prior, so I came home and wallowed in my melancholy. I miss you guys.
Work at the City is work. I am not thrilled with the job, not fully satisfied by it, but at the same time am not in the position to just flat out quit. I'm trying to get another job, but the Tucson job market is lame. I'm trying to become a HS history teacher, I got a couple of leads, but nothing solid.
In bigger news, I'm thinking about buying a car. I would like to get used, but I think I want a Toyota Prius, and there are no used ones to be had, so I think Imma have the Toyota people order me a nice red one. I talked to my dad about it today, and he seems to be supportive of my decision if I have the money. While a new job would definitely help me have the money, I think I can swing it with my Circuit City money, and rent money from the Atrium. I'm looking into it. The way I see it, a car is the next step in me becoming a real adult. Time for me to finally get my own insurance and car payments to worry about. I admit that I've been somewhat spoiled, but hey, gotta let go of my parents at some point. So, time to take the next major step in that direction. Do you folks have any input on my car?
Alright, well, I'm still trying to figure this evaporative cooling nonsense out, but the next step in that is to get screens on the windows, so Imma go back to work on building screens. So imma go do that. Peace.
