I just talked to John, and it seems we have some decent news. The Neurosurgeon came in today, and after looking over Kirk's info it seems that he is really confident that he can take care of it here. So they are not going to move him, and plan on going in tomorrow. The tumor seems to be very localized and small, and the neurosurgeon seems to think it is a "common" tumor that should be no problem. The surgeon also seems to think that it is best to go in soon to minimize the risk of complications.

Further, as a result of the surgery, Kirk will have a titanium plate in his head making him one step closer to becoming robocop.

Keep him in your thoughts and prayers still, but things are looking alright.
