Spoilage!

BSG

They killed Kat! Oh well. I'm decidedly unconcerned by this. She was a support character and not in it very often - besides I know that there's a much more upsetting death on the horizon (thanks a lot TMP - Bastards!. Kat went out in a blaze of glory though, so good for her. Besides, this is Battlestar Galactica - so you know we haven't necessarily seen the last of her!!!!!

So then, Episode 11 - a cliffhanger! Starbuck is down, the humans planet-side are under siege and Adama has authorised nukes (what a great scene that was: Roslyn - "Unfortunately, we are bluffing." Adama - "Are we?"). And the Chief appears to be having some sort of psychic apyphany.

Doc, now that I've seen the episodes, I've been reading through some of your past posts (tags are great!) and your comments about Baltar are interesting. I'd forgotten about him crash-landing on Kobold, thinking he was dead and having that hallucination about the baby. Didn't he see Adama drowning the baby in the river aswell?

I honestly don't think Baltar is a Cylon. If only because it's looking more and more like he is. The twist to this story has to be that he isn't a Cylon - but I'm sure it'll snake around a bit before we know for sure.

I've a horrible feeling that we are going to see a new Cylon in the final episode and we aren't going to like what we see! =)

On the subject of the final five. I'm a little confused. The woman in the bath - the humanoid Cylon who is literally the base-star - is she not a Cylon model? Is she not one of the five? Or is it Lucy Lawless and I just don't recognise her?

Also, I've been thinking that they must reach Earth at some point. I don't think they'll leave it until the final scene of the last episode (though they might) - and I wonder what it'll be like. Will they do the Galactica 80 thing and set it now (though hopefully without the colonial warriors on flying motorbikes) or will it be far in the future or far in the past.... hmmmmm. Having them arrive at present day Earth would present it's own problems. This is a politically and religiously fractured planet without interstellar travel - not the unified loveliness of the other 12 colonies. It would make for some intriguing issues as both Galactica and the Cylons struggle to win the Earth people to their respective sides - pitching nations against each other in the process. Maybe.

HEROES

Not much to say on this, really. It's still twisting and turning like a rattlesnake on a hot tin plate. The characters continue to be likeable and intriguing. I was right about Mohinder's friend being a plant! Yay! I was right about Mika's mum's alter-ego (I wish I could remember her name) killing her boyfriend's 'crew' - YAY!
Something I don't understand is why mirror-woman wanted to get Mika away from his dad. Okay, his dad's a criminal but that aside, he doesn't seem like a nasty piece of work. He seems to love his wife and his son at least.
And then there's Syler, who is a fantastic villain. I can't wait to see how he develops. Finally there's radiation man. Don't make him angry! You wouldn't like him when he's angry!

Cool!
