Tennant to vacate the TARDIS

So, David Tennant is to regenerate at the end of next year's Christmas special. I had a feeling he would and it seems just about right, really. He's been absolutely great (the best since Tom Baker imo) but I couldn't help feeling that another year might have been just a bit too much ( Read more... )

Based on previous experience, the last name I'd expect and the first name I'd look at and go 'OF COURSE!' once it's announced.

Although Paterson Joseph would be AWESOME.

Yes, yes, I fully realise my hatred for this man is entirely irrational, but he is *all over* the BBC at the moment, so I don't put it past them.

(Incidentally, I'm still waving the flag for Richard E Grant, even though that ship sailed 3 or 4 years ago. Or Paul Bettany would be ace too, but he's too busy frolicking in Hollywood to even consider it, no doubt).
