Back to work....
I had a nice, restful day. I spent time catching up on what friends have been doing, and then spent some time reading.
Pat and I watched some football and the game last night was just terrible. One team just running around and scoring at will. UGH.
But now I'm ready to head out to work my four days this week and then I will take off New Year's Eve. I don't know what we're going for New Year's Eve this year. Our friends are not having their annual party. Between Covid's new child Omicron, and all of us being older, the plan this year is for brunch the next day instead.
I have no idea was 2022 will bring, but whatever it is, I hope there will be some joy and laughter in it. That's what I want the most. I like laughing.
I've been thinking that I may keep Network Effect on my desk, and that if I find myself falling into a trough, I will read it again. It makes me laugh.
