The Rays won the game!
HA! The Red Sox didn't know whether to shit or go blind. They had no idea what to do with this amazing little team that has about 1/3 of their payroll and yet plays SO damn well. They just completely kicked ass. Arozarena stole home base while the Red Sox pitcher was doing an extended wind up and not paying any attention to third base. It was a thing of beauty.
DAMN! I love those guys. I call them the "little team that could."
Boxing was exhausting, but I was not put in the ring. Instead he wore me out with shadow boxing, hitting this one portable bag he uses that I despise, and working on the double-end bag. I came home and fell asleep.
I had this big guy called Tank walk up to me at the end and say, "You're doing real good." I said thanks. He says, "I'm thinking I'm getting too old for this. I turn 30 in a few months."
I smiled at him and said, "Double that and add 7 and you get me."
He looked at me confused. "Double thirty and add 7 and that's my age."
He looked like he was going to swallow his tongue. It was cute as hell.
