Home again, home again, jiggedy jig
I am now installed in my new place, with my new internet connection. *smiles* Am part of the greater world again!!! BWahahahahahahahaha!!!!
We also now have a matt black electric Ibanez in our lounge room, with a fantastic bright orange 'dept of corrections' shoulder strap........ now to learn to use it. D's idea, actually, and he is currently strumming it. I was banned from the room because I could play 2 notes and was therefore embarrassingly superior.
SOmething smells like an ashtray, and I wonder if it's my unit (from past inhabitants) or the people in the unit beneath us are dirty, dirty smokers and the stench woofs up and stinks us out.
I am also giving myself an assumed invitation to the Casa Del Gup function...and am working on a mask idea. Somebody tell me please if this is an unforgivable social gaffe.
I am going to sit on my balcony with a drink, not be stared at by yokels, and not listen to screeching yokel children with razer scooters and cats to strangle. *insert smug smile here*
