naresh and i got our old apartment all cleaned today. there are still a few minor things that could use a little more attention but overall it's done. tomorrow our new mattress will be delivered. it will be nice to have an actual mattress instead of a futon. when we were looking at them the other day the sales people were having us try different ones and seeing which we liked better. i could barely decide they were all so much better than our current bed. we got a decent deal on the one we chose because sleep america was having their yearly warehouse sale when they sell off all the mattresses with minor flaws. on ours the color of the fabric on the piping around the edge was different than the rest of the fabric. oh darn. so that saved us like $150. we also went to ikea and picked out some new furniture. we have yet to purchase it because they won't get the dining room table in the color we wanted until sometime next week. so if we want it all delivered to us and pay only one delivery fee we should just buy it all at once. so i'm excited for furniture.
on friday i'm doing a bunch of wedding stuff with my mom. first at 9:30 we have an appointment at the pointe for a hair and makeup consultation. at 1:30 we have an appointment with the florist. then at 3:00 i have my first dress fitting. it's going to be quite a busy day. it'll be good to get a lot taken care of though.
