They Look Alike, Darn It. :-)
Here ya go rensong. :-) I know that right at this moment Alta and Maddie don't look a whole lot alike to the casual observer. I think they look a lot alike, but that's because I have the fresh memory of Alta when she was a toddler.
Ok. So Here is Alta, Maddie, and Joe all around 2 years old, give or take a few months.
Alta at Easter, about 2.5 years old?
Maddie in January, 22 months old.
Joe as a little bit. This is the one that my Mom thought was Alta at first glance.
So fast forward a bit...
Here's Joe, probably about 10 years old. Didn't find any pictures of him between 5 and 10 in my quick look.
And a recent one of Alta. And George.
See? She clearly looks like Joe.
Lilly looks more like me than Alta does:
Little Me and Birthday Lilly!
But like I said the other day, somehow, through the magic of genetics, Lilly really takes more after my mom's half-sister than she does either myself or Joe. The hair and eye color are different, but their face shape and proportions are very similar.
