Two things...
First is a question for you all.
Would it be tacky for me to do a baby registry at Target? This is my 3rd baby of the same sex in 5 years, I don't *need* anything that we can't supply ourselves. But there are some things that would be nice to have, a carry sling, a diaper-bag that's not broken, a swaddling blanket ... a few things like that. The only reason I've considered doing a registry is because I've had family and friends ask if they can get something for the baby.
Second is an amusing story.
Joe, Alta and I stopped by the bank a few weeks ago. Alta was wearing her new hoodie sweatshirt and as we were walking out of the bank she put her hood up. Joe looked at her and said something about his little padewan. I laughed and asked if the force was strong with this one. The minute the words left my mouth Alta tripped over the little rise of the door. Joe and I lost it. Alta, poor girl, had no idea why her tripping was so amusing to us. When I was pregnant with her I had high hopes that my clumsiness and Joe's clumsiness would counteract each other and lead to graceful children. Guess its time to put that fantasy away.
