so i never did a post to say that i'd be in charleston, sc which i am
well okay so SOCON is the southern conference what uncg plays in.
soooo. our guys ranked 11th out of 12 survived through the first round against the number 6 team western carolina (their band was dressed like refs??). the second round against elon (#2) we should have won. we lost by 3 points in overtime. "extra paycheck" our new chant for the refs (this band was the flamers..well at least that's what they wore.) so our guys are already in gso.
our girls have been kicking a whole lot of butt. so we came into this thing ranked 2nd for 12. we won our first three rounds and we're heading into the championship game tomorrow against the undefeated chatanooga. also blue and gold. most of our chants contain those colors so no good on that.
from this weekend i should have already lost my voice, the intense screaming and the partying everyday should have left me with nothing, but i'm fine.
i'll be home at 3am monday.
