[The inn is packed; the air is choked with draining heat and the babble of voices conferring, debating, panicking - guesses are tossed out, played with, discarded. The humanity is stifling

[She stands near the fire, shivering despite the temperature. She hates rain. She really, really does. Nothing good ever happens when it rains. It never does recently. And the elves are gone and it's packed and while that's good for a rogue with sticky fingers...
Sabette keeps glancing in Galehaut's direction. Concerned? Yes. Because she knows what his current state means. She knows that He is around here. Somewhere. Waiting.]
...hey. Hey, hey, buddy. Being honest here, but you? Yeah, you look horrible. Just as, you know, an FYI.
[It turns a perfectly empty gaze on Sabette, more like a glass-eyed mannequin then a person. But it quickly dismisses her - it is waiting for someone else.
Of course, you could keep trying to get its attention...but I wouldn't advise it.]
[Bright blue eyes. So he is... When he (it) looks at Sabette, she shrinks by an inch or two. She's got blue eyes, too, but hers are normal-colored. Their natural color.
She keeps talking. It's more like babbling, really, but it helps her nerves to keep chattering away]
N-now see, that's not how you say hi to a stranger. Y-you're not gonna make very many friends that way! Or maybe you dohave friends, and that's who you're waiting for. Right? I-is that it?
[It's almost like things've slammed into slow motion. (Maybe they did. Bronze dragonflight's domain and all.) Sabette sees the warrior Charging at her and tries to get out of the way.]
[It might not work, but she's not standing still for a trouncing. She just wishes she could run that itty bit faster.]
[Survey says 7 seconds. She's using her skills at Evading to her absolute best. She's had lots of practice in Westfall. But that was against animals and gnolls. Not a person with a hammer.]
[Which is probably why the blow connects and she goes flying right into a chair. Ow. At least it didn't break her jaw.]
[It serenely steps over the tangle of her legs and aims its mace for her shoulder and swings - it will not be fatal if it connects. But it will certainly not be pleasant. And, more importantly, she probably won't be able to use her right arm without subjecting herself to agony.]
[Ow. Ow ow ow OW. The mace slams down onto her shoulder and dislocates it. Well, so much for that arm. Sabette chokes down her tears and protects her only good remaining arm. Mostly by rolling onto her left side.]
[The sounds of fighting draw out Tirion from the kitchen and to the common room. Immediately he casts Hammer of Justice at girl's attacker as he pulls the Ashbringer from his back.]
[Oh thank the Light above, it's Highlord Fordring. Sabette would say hello, your Lordship, but she's busy crying like a baby. That was her fighting arm, you jerk.]
look, tom and jerry is art, k?g_westmarchOctober 8 2009, 21:11:01 UTC
[Shoved. Fine. But you've broken your stun, paladin. It fixes a neutral gaze on Tirion and flicks its wrist - a straight razor, like the sorts the dragons provide in the inn's washrooms glints wickedly in the its hand for a moment - and then it darts, aiming to get into into close quarters, and slashes for the interferer's throat.]

[Her voice drops in volume now.]
Or are you waiting for... H-Him?
