Summary: That first time they go to Scandals, about the only thing that doesn’t end up in disaster for Blaine is when he asks Dave Karofsky to tutor him in math. An unlikely friendship forms among Dave, Blaine and Kurt.

Or, Dave learns how to love himself, Blaine learns how to accept love, and Kurt learns that love is a lot more complicated

My Dave is pretty smitten. I guess as the story unfolds we'll find out how much our headcanons line up, but I hope you enjoy it either way.

Thanks for the math comment! That moment in Prom Queen when he said he had to get to calculus changed my life :) Well, maybe not that, but it definitely clarified my headcanon. I've never met someone who got that far in math by their junior year of high school without liking it. Maybe they don't like *all* of it (I didn't like geometry, but I *loved* algebra and calculus; a friend of mine loved geometry and calculus and trig; etc, etc), but they enjoy it on some level or they would have found a way not to get placed in advanced mathematics (unless maybe their parents are super-pressuring, but I didn't get that impression with Dave's dad). Anyway, it was a nice moment for me because I felt like I had a window into this character that I didn't have before.

And lol, there will be plenty more horniness before this story is done.
