In reverse order:

3: -Hardboiled egg and a tall glass of water. Feel free to salt the egg if you wish.
- Greek yogurt and a banana, or other fruit of choice. Plus the glass of water.
- Cottage cheese, plus water.

The theme here is 'clean' (not oily, not fatty) protein plus water. Protein makes you feel full without giving you a carb rush, and irritating hunger is often caused more by needing water than needing food.

2: -Crust with spices and saute. Then you can put it over rice, steamed veggies, or a salad, depending on seasoning. You can crust it as a log and slice it later, or crust it as slices for more flavor, just saute it in batches. (Sesame seeds work great for a japanese feel, but I also like turmeric with diced jalapenos and black pepper.)
-Put cubes on skewers with sweet peppers, cherry tomatoes, whole garlic, and whatever. Marinate in oil, vinegar, basil, and black pepper, then bake at 400 until the veggies are done. (Tofu cubes can also be browned in a pan ahead of time, which helps them stay whole when you skewer them.)

1:- Butternut squash with lentils: Halve a butternut squash, remove the seeds, place facedown on a baking pan with about 1/4 cup of water, and bake for 1/2 hour. Then flip faceup, brush with oil, and bake for about 15 more minutes. While that's going, saute cumin seeds, then sliced shallots, then sliced jalapeno, turmeric, and lots of fresh dill. (Wait between additions for things to get slightly cooked.) Add 1 cup yellow lentils or split peas, 2 cups water, bring to boil. Simmer with lid for 1/2 hour, or until done. Then fill the cups of the squash with lentils (extra on the side) and eat.
- Quiche. There are many easy recipes out there, especially as you can really just skip the crust. It's not necessary, it's a lot of trouble to make yourself, plus most storebought ones are just butter, sugar, and flour. Who needs it? My favorite is goat cheese and scallion quiche.
-Curly Spinach/Kale/Collards with Garlic. Saute lots of garlic in olive oil. When quite hot, add the greens (if they've just been rinsed, the water will make a terrible hissing noise, and will also make them into steamed rather than sauteed greens. Not terrible, but not what we're going for here. Make sure the greens are as dry as possible.)and stir until wilted.
