No, we didn't. I just recognized you from LJ. I've been friends with you on and off for a few years. I was previously armchairs before this and garconne, etc.
I did love him. His musicianship is just brilliant. I saw him the day before in Albuquerque and there were no chairs so it was different from Tucson, the set lists were also slightly different.

wow that's so funny! i wish you had said hi!! i didnt realize you still had a journal... i thought you had disappeared! the show was sooo great. it was my fourth time seeing him, i think, & definitely the best. i didn't think i was going to be able to go, but a friend of mine found me a ticket the day of-- & it ended up being in the second row. i was pretty thrilled. he's an amazing musician & over all a really swell guy. i saw him & the band at the bar down the street later in the night & they were all really nice to talk to.
are you still living near austin? did you come over to tucson just for the show?

Well, I just resurfaced as usual. I take long breaks but Lj is a bad habit. I've had one for so long. I would have said hi but I didn't think you'd even remember me or anything, I didn't want to chance it. I was actually surprised because I hadn't thought of you then Bam, you walked right past me. That's wonderful you got to talk to them, I think I would have passed out if I was within a foot of him.
I live in West Texas, El Paso, it's at the border of Mexico and New Mexico. Austin is about 9 hours away, I'll be there for South by Southwest though in March. I went to Tucson just for the show :)
