About a week ago the officers of Alt Factory, a guild I had been with for several years, decided (for reasons that are opaque to me) to kick out a large portion of the guild members (from the guild, our FB page, our guild site and Lj so we can't even communicate at all). Same here. Nothing like finally moving back to a stable net connection, logging in, all excited to talk to friends again and seeing the dreaded box that said "No Guild" (Malfie)

I was just so very devastated. I was on my RP main, Roszbrid, until 10pm the night before the kick. Everyone said "hi" and everything was as usual. The gchat was about some 3-d web comic I've never heard of so I wasn't exactly chatty but there was no warning, no anything. I've been in this guild at least since 2011 (based on pix of guild events in my flickr) and I loved it. I thought I had a place there. It was shocking to find I was wrong.
