It's almost Friday! Wooo!
(because everyone needs a giggle in the morning)
And that means it's time to talk about our pretendy fun times.
I have been falling down on the job the past couple of weeks, and I am wholeheartedly sorry folks- I have a lot going on IRL, and this brings me to an announcement. Thespian Thursdays will have a brief hiatus from June 20th through Jul 4th. So if anyone wants to take over for those three weeks... I will be somewhere that often doesn't have cell service, much less internet access. :3
So how has everyone's week been? Exciting character developments, things that went badly... pull up a seat and let's talk about it!
The second monthly Medical and Ethics talk was this past Monday (I have been so busy I forgot to advertise it) and had a fantastic turnout. I was very very pleased, and I got some great RP with my co-host beforehand where Enveri asked him to assist her.
I am always looking for guest speakers or assistants for this event (first monday of each month, although in July it'll be the 2nd Monday because I'll be out of town), so if anyone's interested... I have a list of topics to choose from, or bring your own!
I also rolled a new RP character. I decided I wanted to try something that most roleplayers frown upon- roleplaying a dragon. I'm kind of hazy on the lore, so while I'm on my vacation, I'm going to be devouring reading the novels that deal with the dragon aspects. I want to play a young one that is inexperienced and a little brash; hopefully that, coupled with the loss of power of the Aspects will make him less OP and more in line with John Q Adventurer. I have high hopes that this will be fun.
Have any of you ever roleplayed something that was considered 'wrong' by the community at large? What were your experiences?
This week's writing prompt: Introduction
Events: I completely failed at gathering up the events (I feel like I need a secretary these days, I swear). I know Mageroyal Society is doing Uldum dungeons ICly on Friday evening on WRA at 6pm PST. Anything else going on? Tell us in the comments!
Have a fantastic day, and a great weekend folks!
