Internet connection question
Hiya all!
I'm getting reading to move in a few weeks, and the building I'll be living in has both Comcast and Verizon. My computer at home is used only for gaming, I get enough spreadsheets and what not at work, right? Currently I have Comcast, which I guess has been ok. I started gaming with a dial-up connection way back when, so anything is better than that. Over the years, Comcast has had issues connecting to other providers that have affected my gaming experience in both WoW and SWTOR, but I'm not sure it's always been an issue on their end. I'm remembering a disconnect issue the game had right after Wrath came out that affected many, many gamers.
Anyway, I'm inclined to stay with Comcast, but that will mean having a new installation, as the unit already has Verizon. If I understand what I've been reading, then it looks like Verizon might be the better way to go in terms of latency, but I'm not very technologically savvy at the best of times. It's all so very confusing! :)
